Charlie Chaplin typeface

D2 - Print/Typographic

Designer: Design: Chantal Abdel-Nour, Prov. RGD.

Agency: N/A

Description: The ‘Charlie Chaplin’ typeface was intended to be used decoratively, but still appears legible as body text (as evidenced by the paragraph at the bottom of the display poster). Due to the nature of certain terminal ends and serifs (elements of an individual character), it only seemed appropriate to name it ‘Charlie Chaplin’, with his bowler hat and twirling cane as prominently featured attributes. Its slight quirkiness lends itself to the man for which it was named for, and was intended to make its readers smile.
